Hi All

I wish to take this opportunity to say hi to everyone.

I was just kindly invited to be a moderator of this forum. Firstly, I must admit that I am not a guru but just

a fern lover like someone here, who is still learning everyday so please do not take for granted that I am.

Today, I'd like to get start my assignment!

I'd love all members to share your knowledge into this forum by letting us know what is your most favorite fern in

collection, how you grow, tips for taking care and other helpful info that you think it is worth sharing. It would be

great if you can post photos as it grows currently.

Don?t be afraid of poisoning us with your lovely ferns, you all are welcome.

I like all of Platycium. This is some of my favour sir.... I try to feed all 18 true speicies of Platycium sir but I don't know that Can i do it ? I will try. .... ......

All your plants are so gorgeous.
I couldn't decide which one I like best. Actually I like most of the. But I guess I like the rounded leaves more.

thanks a lot ka. I don't give the attention more than others Platy. I only put some osmocote every 3 months and spraying fish emulsion once a month. that's it. this species grows not hard in our weather la.

where did you get it? this clone is very nice. the one I have it is still small so the fertile fronds still like a normal form.

where did you get it? this clone is very nice. the one I have it is still small so the fertile fronds still like a normal form.

I exchange with my friend with other plants.....hehe

I always remove the pup so that I can enjoy the mother plant better. It can grow very fast.

Wow....rkarkir, you are learning so quick, all of your platys look healthy.

You are not amateur for ferns any longer.

Hi rkarkir

I haven?t obtained madargascariense into my collection as yet. It is listed as an Afro Platycerium hence it prefers fairly cool climate and this would probably contribute to the difficulty in growing here.

Having said that, I could be wrong in my assumption......better let wanna who has experiece in this type of platy to share her view.
