k. Wanna said true!!, there is flower plant, not fruit tree. Maybe this evening I will try to eat them and tell you how taste it is, ha ha!! I just compared you the familiar of shape of dessert with the real tree in the same name " Dok-Ram-Duan"

I think you're really love to plant trees, don't forget to show me the trees you get.
Do you have any special tree which is different from Thailand???

Oh dear, I have completely mistaken..... I thought that is a fruit tree.
Yes... We all like plants... That's why we are here in this forum but I have few flowering plants.
Besides ferns, I have keep begonias, Episcia, caladiums, some water plants and heliconias....
Besides the 2 doggies and other pets!!!!

But I don't have any special tree that Thailand don't have!!!

Wanna....cannot! Must be tree ripened and fall to the ground naturally - we will camp at your durian estate at night and rush out when we hear the durian fall! 8)

Hahaha....Roy is MAD!  I think he is thinking of our local Malaysian durian - for those 10 is maybe OK...for big Thai durian, I think he will 1/23 and  1/40

For me....I think max will be maybe only 2....

I see, that's your hobby!!  This evening I smelt closely again, the flower has really ...really sweet and strong smell /015, difficult to explain.

If I have much time, I will find Thai Plants to recommend you!! /039

Hi Kookie,
That is a very interesting fruit tree with nice flowers too.
I have never seen it before and I hope to be able to taste the fruit too...
Thai desserts are yummy!!!!

I have a few fruit trees from Thailand too in my garden.... Mameaw, mangosteen (but died),
And custard apple!!!. Bought them from JJ market.

Hi Lucasrok if you interested "Mameaw", I'll ask my mom to culture for you......  em170 em170

Lucasrock, why don't you plant "Thai flowers" in your garden, it will be different feeling from ferns.

Hi Roy, my family actually like "Thai Flowers" which has fragrance or no fragrance.  I have many kinds of them.  This weekend I went back to Nakhonpathome,my hometown, unfortunately I forgot camera, so I couldn't get some pics of "Thai Flowers" to show you. I think that next time I will show you my "Thai flowers and trees"  Some are special colors, kindly wait for next two weeks, Roy!! m168

If I'm lucky, I can take one special kind of "Thai Flower" to show all of you here.  /0135

you know I feel happy when I hear that you love Durians. I always hear Thai people say they hate Durain's smell mostly in young people as you. I feel sad about it.

Haha....We like it with very strong smell. In fact, the best durian has strong smell, and the
flesh is slightly bitter sweet...and the seed is very small. However, most of it come from Malaysia....and the best is 'Cat Mountain King' species....one of the many Malaysian durian hybrids. Very expensive in Singapore.  :D

I want to eat durian with rice...and fish sauce!!! m048
